Position Overview

We are continuously on the lookout for full time or part time Assistant Valuers to join our Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, or Gold Coast Valuations teams. As an Assistant Valuer you will provide support through research and evaluation of property related data, and assistance with reporting requirements.

Core Responsibilities

  • Accompany and assist the team in undertaking property inspections, including measurements
  • Undertake research of comparable property sales and other relevant information
  • Assist with evaluation and data analysis including financial analysis and cash flow modelling
  • Contribute to the compilation of Valuation reports, supported by appropriate commentary
  • Update the internal database
  • Monitor and highlight issues in relation to risk and compliance
  • Liaise with clients and external parties, as require

 Position Requirements

  • Completing or completed tertiary qualifications in Property or a related discipline
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent research and data analysis capability
  • Disciplined and organised with strong attention to detail
  • Strong desire to develop skills and knowledge
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing requirements
  • Strong interest in property and the property market
  • Commercially astute
