Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Charter Keck Cramer is committed to Inclusion and Reconciliation.

Acknowledgement of Country

In the spirit of reconciliation, Charter Keck Cramer respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and recognises and respects their continuing cultural heritage and connection to land, sea and community. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

We know that the best business outcomes are achieved through a diversity of talent and gender balanced teams. Charter Keck Cramer strives to actively support the development of pathways for female employees in pursuing gender equity.

Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)

Our Reconciliation journey was ignited by the appetite of Charter Keck Cramer’s people to embrace cultural diversity, with a focus on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander inclusion. The leadership team at Charter Keck Cramer understands the importance of building a framework that fosters strong relationships, respect and opportunities both within the organisation and the community, all of which contribute to supporting the national reconciliation movement. We are excited to take the people of Charter Keck Cramer on a new journey to learn about Australia’s oldest continuing cultures, how we can promote it, protect it and create a foundation to connect with Local Traditional Owners and foster support, compassion and respect for First Nations Peoples.

Charter Keck Cramer considers diversity to broadly cover differences such as age, gender, disability, ethnicity, marital or family status, generation, religious or cultural background, beliefs, sexual orientation, gender identity, thinking style, socioeconomic background and abilities. Inclusion enables us to strive to have all people respected and valued, not just for their abilities, but also for their unique qualities and perspectives.

Charter Keck Cramer’s Floating Cultural Holiday Policy enables employees to substitute a National/State designated public holiday for an alternative work day that has greater cultural or religious significance.

At Charter Keck Cramer, we believe the best way to achieve success is by working together with the goal of making our industry the best it can be. We are proud to support the following organisations as part of our diversity, equity and inclusion endeavours.

  • Diversity Council Australia
  • Reconciliation Australia
  • Property Council of Australia
