Position Overview

Charter Keck Cramer is seeking a part time Accounts Receivable Officer to join its Finance team in Melbourne. This position is required to work 4-5 days per week, 4-5 hours per day (flexible hours) and is responsible for providing timely and accurate receivables management of inbound payments, including collection of overdue client payments. 

Core Responsibilities: 

  • Receipting client payments and investigation as required
  • Management of debt collections including client communication
  • Preparation of daily bank reconciliation
  • Reconciliation of client accounts and resolution of discrepancies
  • Provision of accounts receivable reporting 
  • Contribution to process improvements including system updates
  • Overflow support for end of month activities as required 

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Accounts Receivable position, preferably within professional services 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage expectations
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build stakeholder relationships
  • Netsuite experience beneficial
