Richard Temlett is the National Executive Director of Research at Charter Keck Cramer and has become one of Australia’s leading housing market experts and thought leaders on the residential housing market across Australia. 

Richard believes that property development decisions need to be made using data and an evidence base. He specialises in providing forward looking, evidence-based research and insights that help inform developer and financier strategic property development decisions. 

Richard has worked in the private and public sectors, working in consulting and developer roles. He is currently a member of the Victorian Planning and Infill Committee at the Property Council of Australia. 

As the host of Charter Keck Cramer’s podcast, Precisely Property, Richard leads engaging discussions with high-profile property professionals, offering in-depth insights into the industry.

Richard is a former lawyer and holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from Flinders University. He also holds a Masters of Business (Property) Degree from RMIT University and has become a skilled property development analyst.

Richard is a regular speaker at industry events and universities, as well as a presenter to several Boards of Directors. He blends his legal and property skills with data and evidence to identify risks and opportunities in real estate.
