Aarti Raniga is the Chief Legal & Risk Officer and Company Secretary at Charter Keck Cramer.
She commenced in 2010 as the sole and inaugural legal counsel and took on the challenging role of building the Legal, Risk and Compliance team; a team she leads today, setting a high bar for professional excellence. Aarti is committed to innovating and managing Charter Keck Cramer’s risk practices to ensure successful outcomes for the company, clients and the property community.
Aarti’s responsibilities include developing, setting, and overseeing all legal, company secretarial, risk management, governance, compliance, and insurance functions across the company. Aarti is a key support to the Chief Executive and Board of Directors in setting the company strategic direction and is an active member of the Executive Leadership Team.
Aarti formed and is the Chair of the company’s Environmental, Social & Governance Committee. She also Chairs the company’s Data Security Committee providing critical oversight and leadership on data privacy and security matters.
With over 20 years’ experience in Law and Property having previously worked at top-tier Australian law firms, Aarti has experience advising clients across a variety of industries including property developers, ASX listed corporations, financial institutions and Government bodies. She is regularly invited to sit on Advisory Boards and participate in speaking engagements.
Aarti is an advocate for supporting social causes and has dedicated much of her professional legal career to pro-bono causes supporting women, migrants and the homeless. She loves travel, art and spending time with her young family.
Aarti holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts from Monash University. She is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel.
