Steve Peake is a Director in Charter Keck Cramer’s Health & Childcare Valuations team and joined the firm in 2024. With more than 15 years of valuation experience across Victoria, Tasmania and Queensland, Steve has developed extensive expertise across a broad range of commercial property sectors.
For more than a decade, Steve has specialised in childcare valuations, with a particular focus on freehold, leasehold and going concern interests. His deep understanding of the childcare sector is underpinned by extensive market knowledge, operational insight and expertise in the valuation methodologies specific to early learning assets.
Steve is also experienced in the valuation of a broad range of medical and healthcare assets, from allied health facilities and specialist medical suites through to large-scale private hospitals and institutional healthcare assets. His expertise spans a diverse range of healthcare property types, supported by a strong understanding of the operational and market factors that influence value across the sector.
Steve provides a comprehensive range of valuation and advisory services, including mortgage valuations for major financial institutions, pre-purchase and pre-sale consultancy, valuations for accounting, financial reporting and superannuation purposes, matrimonial and family law matters, “as is” and “upon completion” valuations incorporating feasibility analysis, and rental assessments for both landlords and tenants.
In addition to his specialist expertise in the health and childcare sectors, Steve has extensive experience valuing office, retail, industrial, residential and residential development assets, as well as leasehold and going concern interests.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Urban Development (Property Economics) from the Queensland University of Technology and is an Associate of the Australian Property Institute (AAPI).
