Ben Coker is a Director in Charter Keck Cramer’s Quantity Surveying team and has been with the firm since 2015. With more than 10 years of experience in the construction industry, Ben has built extensive expertise in cost management and quantity surveying across a diverse range of project types.
Before joining Charter Keck Cramer, Ben worked in Christchurch, New Zealand, where he played a key role in the city’s post-earthquake rebuild. This experience provided him with valuable exposure to complex construction projects and strengthened his technical expertise in cost planning and project delivery.
Ben has extensive experience across residential, industrial, retail, childcare, commercial and office fit-out projects. His expertise includes cost planning, estimating, elemental and functional area cost analysis, preparing bills of quantities, tender evaluation and reporting, value management, insurance replacement estimates and comprehensive post-contract services, including progress claim assessments, financial reporting, cost control and variation assessments.
Ben holds a National Diploma in Quantity Surveying (New Zealand) and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS) and a certified Quantity Surveyor (CQS).
