The Melbourne BTS and BTR apartment markets remain very distorted. The market overall continues to move incredibly quickly as it responds to the rapid rises in interest rates, strong return of overseas migration, increase in construction costs, various changes in Government policy and volatile consumer sentiment. It is important to keep in mind that not all sub-markets are equal and not all are facing the same levels of risk or opportunity.
Richard will unpack Charter Keck Cramer’s H1-2023 figures from our National BTS and BTR Apartment Database. These figures will be blended with insights from what we see on the ground with our developer, financer, and builder clients.
